Wedding photography FAQ

Wedding photography FAQ

How far in advance do we need to book?

My weekend dates start booking out around 18-24 months in advance. If you’ve booked your wedding venue I’d highly recommend securing your wedding photographer to avoid disappointment.

Do we need to meet first?

I love hearing your story so far and finding out more about your wedding photography requirements. I understand, planning a wedding and attending meetings with potential suppliers all over town, alongside work schedules and family commitments can be a little full-on. I offer unlimited Skype or Zoom chats at your convenience. If you’d proffer to grab a coffee and a slice of cake around the Exeter or East Devon area, I’d love to meet up with you.

How do we save our date with you?

Fantastic news! I will forward you a copy of my wedding contract along with the deposit payment details. Once I have received your signed wedding contract and the funds have cleared, that’s it. The dates all yours.

Are you insured?

Yes. I have both public liability and indemnity up to £2,000,000 in place. I am happy to email your wedding venue my certificates on their request.

We love your natural photos. Do you include formals?

Absolutely, I’ll ask you to provide a shortlist for your group photos to make sure no one gets left out on your wedding day.

How many photographs do we receive?

There are many key factors to take into consideration. How many guests are you inviting? Do you have entertainment? How long are the speeches? What time is the DJ arriving? Are you hiring one of my associates too? It is impossible for me to guarantee exact numbers as every wedding day is unique. I absolutely guarantee quality over quantity. On most occasion this ranges from 300 – 400 unique images for 9 hours worth of coverage. As a true reputation of my brand, I deliver around 90% of the photographs in color. I do process black and white images If feel are more suited to suit to a perticular photograph.

What happens after our wedding day?

I post-process each image consitantly in my unique style of light, warm, soft tones. Cleaning up major distractions such as fire exit signs and plug sockets to produce polished, high-quality images.

How long will it take for us to receive our wedding photos?

You can expect to receive a mini-preview album within one week of your wedding day taking place. Final wedding albums can take between 8 – 12 weeks to complate and deliver during the main wedding season.
